Common problem summary and solution

1, Nothing is printed?

   a. The first reason, because the platform is not leveled well , the printing platform is still too high, causing the model to           solidify on the FEP film at the bottom of the resin tank, so no model is on the platform after printing is completed.

Solution:To use 95 degree alcohol clean printing platform and remove the resin tank ( use a yellow plastic scraper to               clean the solids stained on the FEP film), and then re-leveling according to the leveling step.

   b.  The second reason is that the bottom area is small and no support is added, so that the printing platform cannot be                attached, and the bottom exposure time is insufficient.

Solution : Add support or select a place with a large contact surface as the bottom surface.

    c. Third reason , a large solid model is printed, It is cured each layer on resin Vat and at Build plate.

Solution  Increase the bottom exposure time (60-100 seconds) and bottom layers (3-10 layers).

2, print the model cracked, hole or only a base?

    Because the curing time of the common layer is not enough.

Solution : Increase the normal layer curing time by 1 to 3 seconds.

   There is also a case where the screen damage causes the liquid crystal to leak and the model in the liquid crystal area is 21     not formed (use the shortcut function - turn on the UV lamp - see if there is a grid full display)

3,Liquid resin on the screen after printing is complete

   a. The FEP film is broken and the resin is leaked. Solution: Replace the new FEP film .

   b. During the process of cleaning the resin Vat or removing the resin Vat, resin drops on the surface of the LCD screen.

Solution: Wipe the LCD screen with 95% alcohol and wipe the resin.


4, the model stripes are obvious

    a. On the screen surface, there is residue on the platform in the resin tank.

Solution: Carefully check the scrub.

    b. The screen is damaged.

Solution: Replace the screen


5,Appear faulting ?
   The normal layer exposure time is insufficient to have a fault.

Solution: Appropriately increase the exposure time of the normal layer.

6,The printed model is compressed or enlarged? (export is in zip format)

      Cause: The slicing software does not match the layer thickness setting on the printer.

Solution: The layer thickness parameters of the printer and the slicing software must be the same. Be sure to save the                   settings after setting the parameters on the printer.


7, the LCD screen only shows half, but the screen has no signs of damage.

Cause: The internal wiring is loose.

Solution: Rewire.


8, the motor does not work?

Cause: The coupling screw is not fixed tight.

Solution: The coupling .screw is not fixed tightly.


9, Don't want to manually set the parameters on the printer?

The latest firmware can read the parameters directly, without having to manually set the parameters on the printer, the latest firmware has been uploaded and can be downloaded.


10, Always drop the U disk?

     Reason: a. The interface is loose.

     b.U disk problem.

     c. Firmware is not compatible.

Solution: a. Check the interface and reconnect it.

      b. Format the U disk or replace the U disk.

      c. Update the firmware (official website or Facebook).

11, Is the product stuck to the FEP film?

      Reason: a. The single layer exposure time is too long (the possibility of S400 is large).

      b. There is no exposure delay time (the possibility of D200 is large).

Solution: Appropriately reduce the exposure time, preferably each printer print plus exposure delay time.

12, Is there only a model for support?

     Reason: The support contact point is too small.

Solution: Appropriately increase the support contact point. (For general models, it is recommended to choose medium               support. If the default parameters are not suitable, set the diameter to 1.2mm and the contact depth to 0.8mm)


1, The support angle is generally set to 45°, which is easy to form.

2, When S400 is sliced with ChiTu slicing software, the layer thickness settings of the printer and software must be the            same.

3, If the friction noise is generated during the Z-axis operation, apply a proper amount of grease on the Z-axis screw.

4, Please do not use sharp objects to scrape off the film to avoid damage.

5, Be careful not to slip when taking the platform, so as not to crush the 2K LCD screen.

6, If you do not use the machine within 24 hours, you need to pour the resin back into the storage tank (wait a few hours to print, you need to stir the resin, otherwise it will affect the printing effect).

7, After printing, pay attention to clean the platform (clean with paper towel or clean with alcohol) and the residue inside          the trough.

8, If the resin is inadvertently stained on the machine, it can be cleaned with alcohol.

9, When switching the resin of different colors, the original color resin should be cleaned up.
